The Team are highly trained and up- to – date and familliar with multiple techniques and types of surgeries, including Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery ( MICS), for both coronaries (MIDCAB), both off-pump and on-pump coronary artery bypass grafting, Valve surgeries ( MIS Mitral, tricuspid repair/replacements), Endoscopic Vein Harvest (EVH), TAVI, cryoMAZE procedures and Uniportal Thoracic Surgeries to name a few.
Our surgeons work closely with a multidisciplinary team from other specialties such as cardiology, pulmonology, oncology, vascular surgery, anesthesiology, pathology, radiology, paediatrics, physical therapy and dietician to provide integrated and individualized care for each patient. This will means each case is not getting just one person opinion but is discussed among the team. Our specialist works together to evaluate and come up with the best treatment option for each patient.
In collaboration with University of Malaya we are one of pioneers in medical research which means patients have access to modern diagnostic and treatment facilities and clinical trials.
